Kirti Mandir

• Kirti Mandir is located in Porbandar, Gujarat, India. It was established in remembrance of Mohandas  Karamchand Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi.

• The Gandhi family's ancestral home, where Mahatma Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869, which is in the right side of the Kirti Mandir. A courtyard is flanked by a photo exhibit depicting Gandhi's life journey.

• The house where he was born and resided for a time is located at the far end of the courtyard. For many tourists, visiting the location where he was born is a delight. This was once a three-story structure that had been altered since Mahatma Gandhi's grandfather built it.
